THAN A PROPERTY
CRIME!
Learn how to develop a
sound security strategy
JUNE 10, 2015
RESIDENTIAL
SECURITY
Course Description
The FBI’s Uniformed Crime Report (2013) states 74% of all burglaries in
the United States are committed against a residence. The alarm industry
has done an excellent job in convincing the public the primary means to
protect your family is with a security system. However, is this truly the
best means of protection for you and your family? Or does the security
system offer a “false sense of security?”
The course will demonstrate the best methods for securing a residence
based on a client’s needs and lifestyle. There are three objectives
students will learn: 1) The dynamics of residential burglary; motive,
targeting, method of entry and emotional and economic impact on the
victim, community and corporate America; 2) The electronic security
industry; the good, the bad and the RMR! 3) Physical security; The
foundation of any security strategy!
