Kids learn in a safe and fun environment, under the supervision of an experienced, insured and fully licensed tennis coach. Following the LTA guidelines and applying skill tests we make sure all players are learning at the right pace and appropriate level. Tots Tennis – This class aims to introduce the little ones to tennis through fun games and activities. At this stage we focus on establishing their ABC’s - agility, balance and co-ordination, throwing and catching, eye-hand co-ordination and basic racket skills. Red Class –This class is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on smaller courts with shorter rackets and softer balls. It’s just like the real game, however, the slower ball gives the players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots. We aim to develop their ABC’s – agility, balance and co-ordination, movement and co-ordination skills. Players are encouraged to play fun match-play to learn scoring and the rules of the game. Orange/Green Class - Orange ball mini tennis is for players aged 8 and 9. Green ball mini tennis is for players 9 – 10 years old. Both are played on slightly larger courts than the mini red, with bigger rackets and balls that are not as soft. At this stage we focus on the technical/tactical aspect of the game. Yellow Class – This class is aimed at players aged 10 – 13 years old. Players play on full tennis courts with yellow balls. This class concentrates on fun in a more competitive environment whilst improving tennis skills. Teen Drills – This session is for all players aged 13 – 16 years old. It is a game based session for all teenagers. Part of the session is focused on technical development but mostly this session is tennis drills, to make sure everyone has lots of fun, while competing in various tennis games.
