It is organized by Japanese Association of Space Radiation Research (JASRR) and SRHITS 2015 committee jointly held with the 7th International Workshop on Space Radiation Research (IWSRR), the 15th Workshop on Ion Beams in Biology and Medicine (IBIBAM) and the 2nd Japanese Association of Space Radiation Research Meeting (JASRR). It is supported by National Institute of Radiological Sciences (NIRS) in Chiba, Japan, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Osaka City University. This is a satellite meeting of ICRR2015 in Kyoto and many prominent scientists on space radiation and heavy ion therapy come from abroad to join this meeting. Though the meeting time is limited within two days, we really hope to have time for fruitful communication including young scientists of research on heavy ion effects in space and for therapy applications. Furthermore, international co-operative experiments will be welcomed for these discussions.
