University of California, San Diego Transportation Information The San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field) and the San Diego Train Station are approximately fifteen miles from campus. San Diego Transit Bus/From the Airport To get to UCSD by bus from the airport, walk to Harbor Blvd from the terminal and take the #923 bus marked Downtown to Broadway. The #923 bus leaves every thirty minutes from the airport. Cross the street and take the #30 bus marked UCSD/UTC to the VA Medical Center. Depart at Gilman Parking Structure located at the corner of Gilman and Villa La Jolla. Walk north through campus to the Warren Conference Desk, located on the Voigt Drive. Please plan for an approximated two hour bus ride. From the Train Station Walk to First Ave and Ash St and take the #30 bus marked UCSD/UTC to the VA Medical Center. The #30 bus runs approximately every fifteen minutes. The one-way fare $2.25, and exact change is required. A transfer is free. To drive to UCSD from the airport, take the Harbor Dr./I-5 south exit to Laurel Street. Take a left on India Street and stay on India to the Interstate 5 north on-ramp. Note: You do not have to have an advance reservation to ride SuperShuttle, but without an online reservation you will pay the full fare. General Directions Take Interstate 5 to La Jolla Village Drive exit. Drive west on La Jolla Village Drive to the first signal and turn right at Villa La Jolla Drive. Go past the VA Medical Center and turn right at the signal light, Gilman Drive. Follow Gilman Drive about one-half mile to the second stop sign. Turn left on Voigt Drive and follow the sign to the Warren Conference Service Center. To register and drop off luggage pull into the shuttle stop and follow the signs. After you register, park your vehicle in one of the following parking lots, in the green or yellow striped spaces only, 502, 504, 510 or the Hopkins Parking Structure. Be sure to properly display the parking permit you purchased in advance. The Warren Conference Service Center is open 7am – 10pm daily; phone 858-534-3811. Please note: Parking Permits are required five (5) days a week from 7am–11pm. Permits are not required on weekends. Permits are available for purchase online in advance or at the various parking pay stations or Visitor Information Booths at either Gilman or North Point Entrances.
