Tuition Registration
Existing Tuition:
Existing Families who already have children within the Johnson City School System will submit
forms for reapplication of existing tuition students by May 15, 2015. Board Policy will be
followed for space availability.
Existing Tuition with kindergarten children:
1. If a current student will be in grades 1-4 next school year, the kindergarten student will
be considered for the same school the sibling attends.
2. If a current student will be in grades 5-12 next school year, the kindergarten student will
be considered for North Side Elementary.
New Tuition Students:
Applications for new students will be accepted April 23, 2015 from 8:00a.m.- 5:00p.m. at the
Central Office (Columbus Powell) for the following schools:
K-4: North Side Elementary
7-8: Liberty Bell Middle School
9-12: Science Hill High School
After applications have been received they will be reviewed and awarded on space availability.
Students of Teachers with the Johnson City Schools System (New Students):
1. Children will be allowed to attend the school where their parent teaches.
2. If the parent teaches at Indian Trail, Liberty Bell, or Science Hill High School, the
elementary student will attend North Side Elementary.

Space availability for transfer and tuition students is determined by the following priorities:

school quarter. An additional fee of $25.00 may be charged for late payments. Failme to comply with policy will

*In order to be considered a full time employee, you must work 30 or more hours per week.
*Beginning with the 20 15-16SY second child discounts will cease for any new tuition students of city of Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY SCHOOLS EMPLOYEES ONLY:
Employees of the city of Johnson City and Johnson City Schools will pay their tuition by payroll deduction. Johnson
City Schools will deduct 1120 of your total year's tuition each payday beginning on August 5, 2015, and ending on May
20, 2016.
