The Pi Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will award scholarships to selected
applicants who satisfy the eligibility requirements established by the chapter. The scholarships will be
funded by the Pi Iota Education Foundation, Inc. a 501C3 Corporation. Three $2,000.00 scholarships
will be awarded to Hillsborough County male students.
A. Eligibility Requirements
1. Eligibility is restricted to male graduates of a public or private Hillsborough County
school.
2. The applicant must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
3. The applicant must meet all graduation requirements prior to the graduation date
established for his class.
4. The applicant must enroll as a full-time student at an accredited institution of higher
learning. (This is limited to community colleges and four year degree granting institutions.)
5. A personal interview will be conducted with each selected applicant.
B. Verification of Information
1. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to verify information submitted in support
of the applicant seeking the scholarship.
2. Authorization is granted for the release of supportive information by the school to the
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc./Pi Iota Education Foundation, Inc. for the above purpose.
C. Administration of Scholarship Fund
1. Scholarship Funds will be awarded in one (1) installment upon proof of enrollment.
2. If a scholarship recipient should relinquish the award, the Scholarship Committee may
select a new recipient from the application on file for the current scholarship year.
D. Application and Attachments
1. Submit a certified copy of your high school transcript.
2. Submit the completed application (Note: Only complete applications will be considered.)
3. Mail completed application and transcript to:
