This free event is a continuation of Louisiana’s College Goal Sunday, which was held throughout the state on March 1. The program is currently offered in 34 states. Financial aid professionals from colleges and universities along with other volunteers provide assistance in completing the FAFSA. All students – regardless of age – who are seeking financial aid to pay for college expenses for the upcoming academic year are encouraged to attend. The FAFSA is required for any student seeking federal and state financial aid, including TOPS, grants, and loans, to help pay for tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses. CLTCC is hosting Post-College Goal Sunday FAFSA Completion Events at several of its campuses from March 3 through March 31. What? Laptops and/or tablets are welcome.
