Fully completed entry forms must be submitted by July 31st, 2015
For nomination-only categories, short-listing of entries is at the
discretion of the Chair of Judges.
The Jewellery Market reserves the right to move the contestant to
a more appropriate category after consultation with the Jury
members.
Once a candidate has been announced as a nominee/participant,
they cannot withdraw from the contest.
Short-listed finalists may require to provide further details and
documentation upon the request of the JM & Panel of Judges to
support information given in the entry form or else. if necessary.
All information supplied by contestants will be treated in the
strictest confidence, with all judges obliged to sign non-disclosure
agreements.
Jewellery Market is not liable for any costs incurred by candidate
during the judging/grooming & other process, till or after the Show.
Decision of the organiser & Juri member will be final & not
challengeable. All disputes will be settle under Delhi jurisdiction.
Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules and regualation
from time to time in the best interest of the show.

Judges will consider each entry submission at their own discretion
based on their relevant experience and expertise.
Judges’ decisions are final and binding and no discussions or
correspondence will be entered into relating to any of their
decisions.
Any contestant who, in the opinion of the judges or the
organisers, is perceived to have harassed or bribed any
member of the panel can be disqualified at any time even after
selection for nomination.
The JM reserves the right to withdraw any entry from the judging
process at any time if the entry is deemed inappropriate for any
reason.
If it is found that any contestant has knowingly provided false
information on their application for their entry, the organiser
reserves the right to withdraw any award at any time submitted
by the nominees.
By entering or agreeing to participate in the Awards, all
contestants agree to follow the terms and conditions set by the
organiser.
Selection in nomination procedure does not make anybody
eligible for the final award honouree.

SUGGESTIONS/TIPS FOR THE PARTICIPANTS.
Be sure to have all of the correct practice dates and timings written down on your calendar.
When you're looking for the best dress, do not look on the Internet!! It's a waste of time.
Another downfall is that you can't be sure if it fits you correctly or not! So go to your local
mall or convenient store where they have beautiful dresses!! The type of dress you should get
has to be as per your skin tone which enhances your overall personality.
Make sure your footwear are comfortable to walk in!! Don't get really high heeled shoes
that will make you fall when you walk! You should get the shoes that fit perfectly to go along
with your dress. You have to be careful while wearing a saree to avoid tripping while walking.
If you have a long or heart-shaped face, put your hair up nicely and make sure it's in a bun, and
your bangs are kept down with little curls. If your face is round or square-shaped, having it
long and loose and wavy works.
Have a talent. Some of the talents that will help you to win include: playing an instrument,
dancing , singing, reciting poetry or doing some sort of performance; like mimicry. If you
cannot think of anything to do, ask around, your family and friends would be more than willing
to help!
Tips
·
Stay in your comfort zone when buying your shoes and dress! If anything doesn't look
right, don't wear it! You want to ooze confidence so the judges will see how effortlessly
beautiful you are!

Smile in front of everyone!
·
Make sure you don't trip when showing off your dress!!
·
Sit and stand up straight!
·
Don't get big heel shoes.
·
Shop for your dress somewhere where nobody else will shop so you look unique.
·
Practice your talent a lot!
Warnings
·
Don't have a hairstyle that's so complicated that it's hard to change it for talent,
interview, other rounds, etc. It also makes it hard for someone to place that coveted tiara/crown
on someone's head.
·
Don't put Vaseline on your teeth. It actually makes your teeth look yellow.
·
Whip your body into shape by eating healthy and exercising. This will give your
body toned look to get you extra marks.

Prepare an Emergency Pageant Kit which should include essentials such as:
·
A dress for each round
·
Curling/straightening iron
·
Extra emergency jewelry (preferably not precious )that will go with anything, including
emergency dress
·
false eyelashes (if you wear), glue sticks, Hairspray, Hot rollers
·
A good collection of quality makeup, Sewing kit, Shoe covers, Wipes
Choose your attire carefully:
·
For the different rounds choose different style of dress, consult your friends about the
colors, choose black only if it suits you . Wear at the most four inch heels, and let them match
your dress.
·
For the evening gown, wear something that will reflect your personality, and fits you very
well. You can find sites all over the internet that show what color you should pick.
·
For the interview, wear a neutral dress, suit or a Saree in a color that goes well with your
skin tone, wear matching heels.
·
Be on your best, most ladylike behavior all the time the pageant. Stand up straight at all times
and smile. . Present yourself with class and manners.
·
Face the interview! Stay calm and relaxed, yet enthusiastic and upbeat. Pretend you're talking
to family or friends, but at the same time, be especially polite and appropriate. Don't be nervous.
Stand up tall and show your confidence!
Tips
·
Eat healthy foods and exercise.
·
If you win and are required to wear a crown, make sure it is securely on and will not fall off.
If it is a little loose, don't toss your head too much.
·
You may be able to use your title to raise money or awareness for a cause. Mention them in
your winning speech.
·Do age-appropriate makeup and dress modest. You want to look great while not showing too much.
·
At an interview, only shake the judges hand if they extend it first, and say good morning,
good evening, good afternoon, whatever fits the time of day.
·
When you are on the stage, make eye contact with each of the judges at all times unless you
are turning around.
·
If you do win, act surprised and be very mature about it. No one likes someone who brags or
is being snobby.
·
Be polite, smile, look pretty, and have all the personality but don't act fake.
·
If you are required to perform a talent, do something you feel comfortable with, instead of
doing something that will get the judges attention. Being yourself is eye-catching enough.
·
Beauty is from the inside and out! Show kindness to all the contestants!
·
If you are having a Q&A portion in your pageant, then you must be aware about the
happenings around you so that you'll know the appropriate answer you must give. And do not be
biased even if your opinion is asked. Try to play safe but not that much.
·
Practice practice & practice
·
Wear all clothes that are in fashion!
·
Make sure you have makeup on at all times.
·
Be what you are. Do not pose fake opinions in order to impress the judges and public since
further questioning can expose the truth and put you in a bad position.
·
Be kind.
·
Create a healthy look by RESTING, the exertion depletes energy.
Warnings
·
Make sure you a comfortable with anything you do especially the talent portion
·
You will have to spend money on several things for the pageant such as makeup, dresses,
hair, skin, coaches, etc.
·
Don't chew gum on stage or during the interview!
·
Avoid looking tired.
