Before issuing appointment letters in their favour, the provisionally selected (not waitlisted)
candidates are directed to attend the Corporate office at the JKSPDCL Corporate office, Exhibition
Road, Jahangir Chowk, Srinagar along with the below mentioned testimonials in original within 15
days from the issuance of this notice. Failure to do so within the stipulated period will automatically
result in cancellation of the selection and the next person in the waiting list will be considered.

Date of Birth (Matriculation Certification)
Permanent Resident Certificate
Provisional or final award of degree/diploma (qualifying examination)
Reserved Category Certificate if applicable
Marks sheets of the qualifying examination
6. Higher education certificates (if any)
7. Passport size photographs against white background(2 nos)
8. A notarized affidavit by the candidate stating therein that the degree/diploma obtained by
the candidate is not through distance education mode.
The select list is provisional and the appointment letters shall be issued only in favour of such
candidates who produce their original certificates in support of the eligibility criteria laid down in the
advertisement notice which will be got verified from the issuing authorities and in case any of the
certificates is found fake or forged the selection of such candidate shall be cancelled abinitio and the
candidate from the waiting list shall be taken in his/her place. The candidates shall also have to
subsequently produce a character and antecedent certificate from CID Department without which
no salary/remuneration shall be paid to them till such time such certificate is produced. Further in
the event of any adverse comments/report from the said department about the
character/antecedent the appointment/selection made shall be cancelled abinitio. Kindly note that
the waiting list will be operated in order of merit only after any candidate fails to join pursuant to
this notification with the stipulated time of 15 days or anything adverse is reported by any
agency/institute with regard to the testimonials.
