Jordan Computer Trading Co (JOCOM) was established as a private shareholding company back in 1978. The main line
of activities was electronic cash registers (ECR’s) from CASIO (Japan) and FACIT Electronic calculators.
We secured exclusive distribution rights for CASIO ECR’s in Jordan. CASIO now has Point of Sale (POS) systems that
connect to PCs for a complete front and back office activities. We distribute CASIO products through a channel of dealer
network in addition to our own end user sales.
In the early eighties we introduced the first Personal Computer called the PET as well as the first CASIO Personal
computer which ran under CP/M.
In early 1984, EPSON distribution was secured for the Jordanian market. We are still the only Authorized EPSON
distributor in Jordan. We market our EPSON products through a dealer network and through our own major accounts
network.
1984 was a milestone in the history of the company. In that year we also got distribution rights for the Mentor Products.
Mentor at that time was the name of the multi user system (H/W & O/S) from Applied Digital Data Systems (ADDS) which
was a subsidiary of NCR corp. The Mentor O/S is a subset of the PICK o/s (RDBMS). ADDS and the Mentor O/S was later
sold to a number of companies in the USA. Now we are marketing the mvBase RDBMS (the upgraded version of Mentor)
from ROCKET Software of USA which we represent as authorized distributors.
In 2002, we added two new lines of products, which we are the authorized distributors for: METROLOGIC (USA) Bar
Code Readers and Scanners, we now market these products under the HONEYWELL name.
In 2003 we signed agreement with WINCOR-NIXDORF of Germany as their authorized distributor for their banking
division.
In 2005 we became authorized distributors for the NETGEAR products of network and storage solutions
In 2014 JOCOM added two other lines of products. These are POINDUS (Taiwan) in which we became their sole
authorized distributor for point of sale hardware and industrial computing solutions, and MATICA (Germany) for card
personalization and card mailing systems.

Fawzi Darwazeh:
Born: 1953
Education: BSc Electronic and Electrical Engineering Manchester University (England) 1975.
Worked for NCR corp from 1975 to 1984. Position: Senior System Engineer and field engineering department supervisor.
Has been with the company since 1984. He has been involved in the development of much of the company’s activities
including the S/W department.

Abdullah Darwazeh:
Born :1991
Education : Master of Financial Economics with Honors from the University of St. Andrews (UK) 2014.
Abdullah joined the company in 2014. He is in charge of business development.
Administration & Finance:
A total of 8 people are involved in these two departments to look after day to day business.
Company Offices :
We currently have over 1000 square meter of office space distributed in three locations
-The sales/admin offices (420 m2) are owned by Jocom and are located at No. 8 Ismael Hijazi St Tlaa’ Ali Amman. They
include over 120m2 of showroom.
-The Service/Stores offices (380 m2) are located at No. 8 Hani Sheibani st. Jabal Amman .
-The warehouse ( 220 m2) is located at Qweismeh Round about.
JOCOM has grown during its 35 years in the market from a small company with three people to a medium size company
with over 33 people. We are growing steadily and very carefully in a very volatile market. Here in JOCOM, we believe that
it takes many good actions to build a superior reputation and only one bad action to ruin it.

Sales and marketing Department
Rsuhdi Al-Kukhun
Sales and Marketing Manager. (BSC Elect Eng. 1985)
Worked with us since 1991. Rushdi is responsible for supervising the sales staff as well as taking care of the company’s
logistics.
JOCOM Sales department is divided between Product Managers and Account Managers. The product managers are senior
engineers who have been with the company for many years and know their products inside out. The account managers are
the pre sales and sales staff who look after our broad customer base.
Product Managers :
Omar Ismail Al-Khateeb: (BSC Computer Eng 1993). Product Manager for WINCOR-NIXDORF and EPSON dot matrix
and laser printers (Banking Products). He has been with the company since 1993.
Omar Ahmad Al-Khateeb : Product Manager responsible for consumables (Inks, Toners, Ribbons and Paper). He has
been with us since 1994.
Tarek Sultan: (BSC Electronic Eng 1991). Product Manager for CASIO, POINDUS, MATICA and EPSON Inkjets,
Scanners and Retail Division. He has been with the company since 1996.
Enas Abu El-nile : Sales & Marketing department administrator. She has been with the company since 2001.
Account Managers:
There are five account managers in JOCOM who are assigned for various sectors of the market. These account managers
are supervised by a direct sales manager Nadira Al-Dalou who joined us in 2014. Nadira has over 15 years of experience
in marketing and sales activities, 8 of which as a senior Marketing & Sales manager serving clients with quality services
and professional standards.

Service Department
Our Service Dept is the most important of all departments in the company. We take extra care of this dept. as it reflects our
strength to continue to support our valued customers. The department has currently over ten engineers / technicians
working with a total experience in excess of 100 man-years. Our engineers go through a very formal training at the
manufacturers’ offices, in addition to our in-house training. Few of them have official certification for Microsoft products.
(MSCE,MSCP).
We also have an extensive stockpile of spare parts for all machines that we sell and service. This stock is updated on biweekly basis with original spare parts from our major hardware suppliers. The whole department is automated under a
locally developed application programs. We keep records of every single machine sold through our company, plus all
related services.
This department consists more than ten highly trained, highly qualified engineers whose names are listed below:
 Raed Dawood, Service Dept. manager (B.Sc. Eng.) . Worked for us since 1992 . He is formally trained on all
EPSON and WINCOR-NIXDORF products in the UK, Dubai and Pakistan. Total experience 23 years.
 Ahmad Abu Sarriah, (BSc Eng) Senior Field Engineer. He has been with us since 1998. He is formally trained on
EPSON and WINCOR-NIXDORF products in Dubai and Pakistan and Germany. He is an MSCP. Total
experience 16 years.
 Izzat Douleh, Senior Field Engineer . He has worked for us since 2000. He is formally trained on EPSON and
Microsoft products. He is an MCP. Total experience 14 years.
 Jihad Maghari, (BSc Eng). Worked for us since 2000. He is responsible for EPSON and WINCOR-NIXDORF
products. Total experience 14 years.
 Rateb Suleiman, Service dept field engineer / Spare parts controller. He has been with us since 1987. He has
more than 10 years experience in Germany. Total experience 27 years.
 Abd El-Rahman Sawafta, ( BSc Eng). Senior Field service engineer, responsible for EPSON and WINCORNIXDORF products. He has been with us since 2003. Total experience of 11 years.
 Ahmad Nayef Abdul Hamid,(Bsc) Senior Field Engineer, Joined us in 2005. Total experience of 9 years. Trained
and worked in Germany, he is senior Engineer for WINCOR-NIXDORF products.
 Orabi Abdul Latif Abu Ali . Joined us in 2007 and is a field service engineer responsible for EPSON and
WINCOR-NIXDORF products.
 Aladdin Abu Shaqra , joined us in 2010 and is a field service engineer responsible for EPSON , WINCORNIXDORF, and Microsoft products.
 Zuhair Beshto, joined us in 2013 and is field service engineer responsible for PCs and Microsoft Products.
 Shadi Naser, joined us in 2013 and is field service engineer responsible for EPSON and Microsoft Products.
The service department looks after assembly, installation, and after sales support for our various products.
