The home inspection report is broken down into sections and a list of items that are inspected with each section that would normally
be found based on the house in question is given. Considerations are allowed for the age of the house and normal wear and tear.
Unless otherwise noted below each section, these items- as they apply to the house in question, appear to be functioning as intended
at the time of the inspection.
The purpose of the inspection is to give a home buyer an overview of the conditions of the house based on the North Carolina Home
Inspector Licensure Board Standards of Practice. No infrared photography, borescopes, or invasive equipment is used in the
inspection, no walls opened up or equipment taken apart. Furniture is not moved for access. Only your normal readily accessible
covers are removed.
Termites, other pest, mold, radon, lead paint, pet or mold smells, and asbestos are not part of the home inspection. These will be
reported on if any are thought to be observed, but only a specialist in the particular area in question can give advice on the
problem.

from opening.
