Numi & Company
Salon, Rye
Nuriel Abramov and Gabriel Abrams, owners of Numi Hair Salon in Scarsdale, have opened a second, much
larger location in the heart of Rye. What had formerly been Salon Hiro has been completely renovated,
revitalized and re-energized — thanks to six months of top-to-bottom construction. The glamorous, modern
salon — complete with an artistic white tiled wall that sparkles in the light — features an eight-chair styling
station and five chairs for coloring. “Our motto is to bring a bit of New York City to Rye,” says Abramov, who is
known for specializing in short cuts and fine hair. Co-founder Abrams, on the other hand, is known for his long,
layered styles. New to the salon’s team is Pearl Martinez, a stylist who worked at some of the top salons in Los
Angeles, and Anthony Andreopoulos, a colorist who worked at both Frederic Fekkai and Oscar Blandi. The salon,
which opened in late February, offers up-to-the-minute services such as Kerastase deep conditioning treatment,
Aphogee two-step protein therapy, Lasio Keratin smoothing and more. It is also one of the only salons in
Westchester carrying Oribe, a luxury hair care line.
