The facts about head lice
1,2
Head lice (pediculus capitis) are insects. They can’t fly or jump, but
crawl very quickly up and down the hair shaft. This means they can
easily spread from direct head-to-head contact, or by sharing items
that touch the head.
Head lice are insects that feed on human blood to survive, and stay
close to the scalp for warmth. While they do feed on blood, head
lice do not spread diseases in the same manner as fleas, ticks and
body lice (pediculus humanus).
Though they are annoying, head lice don’t pose any serious
health threat.

Clearing up a head lice infestation takes more than one application.
The first application may kill nymph and adult lice, but there will be
eggs that have yet to hatch.
By applying Resultz a second time, 7 to 10 days after the first
application, you can kill newly hatched lice and stop the infestation.
A single purchase of Resultz provides enough product for at least
2 applications.

Resultz contains isopropyl myristate, a common ingredient in many
cosmetic products. Isopropyl myristate dissolves the waxy coating
on the lice, causing water loss from their body. Once they lose this
protective layer, the lice dehydrate, become immobile and die in
as little as 10 minutes.
