YOUTH CENTRE SUMMER ACTIVITIES IN
FOR 10-16 YEAR OLDS
Kampur‘s youth centres offer a diverse range of activites for children and teenagers this
Summer. The staff of Gleðibankinn, 100og1 and 105 will see to the activities, as in winter term, so
there will be familiar faces with the children and teenagers. We will be focusing on offering a wide
range of activites.
10 – 12 year olds (born 2002 – 2004)
The three youth centres will offer diverse, four-day workshops
between 15th June – 9th July. The focus will be creativity and a
blend of traditional and popular activities. There will be a total
of 12 workshops throughout the district before and afternoon.
There will also be two openings especially for 7th Grade (b.
2002) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:00 til 18:30
where outdoor activity will be the focus. Further information

Youth Centres for teenagers (born 1999 – 2001)
Kampur‘s youth centres will be open on Monday and
Wednesday evenings. In addition to this there will be additiona
day openings on Tuesdays and Thursdays as young people
born in 2001 (that are finishing 8th grade) are especially
encouraged to come along. The programme will be organised
with the teenagers themselves and there will be special
organisational meetings held on Mondays for those that are
