About KCG College of Technology
Guidelines for paper submission
KCG College of Technology, a unit of the Hindustan Group
of Institutions, was founded in 1998 by late Dr. KCG
Verghese, Founder-Chairman HGI, to fulfill his vision of
“Making Every Man a Success and No Man a Failure”.
Currently, the college flourishes under the able guidance of
Dr. Elizabeth Verghese, Chairperson, Hindustan Group of
Institutions & Chancellor, Hindustan University. It is a
Christian minority institution, affiliated to Anna
University, approved by AICTE, and with courses accredited
by NBA. The college has been certified as an ISO
9001:2000 institution. Its core philosophy is rooted in the
belief that education, beyond imparting knowledge, must
nurture the holistic development of the entire personality.
integration is responsible for new commercial products
and systems.
Set in 50 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, the
college is situated at Karapakkam (about 10 km from
Adyar) on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, the IT Corridor of
Chennai. The college offers 8 undergraduate B.E / B.Tech
programmes as well as 6 postgraduate ME and MCA
programmes. Equipped with ideal infrastructure and
powered by highly qualified and dedicated faculty, the
college strives to produce graduates who are competent,
creative and committed.
Original research papers are invited from academicians,
research scholars and industrialists in the thrust area of
the conference.
About the Department
The Mathematics division, S&H department, is a premier
department with 20 experienced and efficient teachers
headed by Dr. P. Sivaramakrishna Das, a professor with 47
years of teaching experience. Eight of the Mathematics
faculty are pursuing research in various universities.
About the Conference
Fuzzy theory, Fuzzy logic and Fuzzy technology have come
a long way since “Fuzzy sets” was introduced by a
professor, Dr. Lotfi A. Zadeh in 1965. The International
marketing research firm of Frost and Sullivan, USA,
predicted that Fuzzy logic based technologies would be
one of the world’s top 10 hottest technologies in the 21st
century. The integration of fuzzy logic with neural
networks and genetic algorithms is now making automated
cognitive systems a reality in many disciplines. In fact, this
This conference is being organized to discuss the recent
trends in Fuzzy theory and applications. Some of the
applications are in Control theory and Signal processing,
Robotics and manufacturing, Intelligent process, Decision
making, Pattern recognition, Cluster analysis, etc.,
The rate at which this technology is growing, it would
soon become an essential knowledge for all engineers
and scientists.
