Just a reminder regarding Field Day:
FYI
Parents attending picnic with their child must
check in at the office to
obtain a sticker after
license is scanned and
must sign out child from
the office to take their
child home early.
Parents attending
awards ceremony DONOT need to obtain a
sticker from the office
and may go to the
child’s homeroom and
pick up report card
and may sign out child
with their homeroom
teacher.
Girls should wear a colored shirt as
there will be water games. Dress code
for Field Day will be the same as every
school day, no exceptions!! Absolutely
NO flip-flops or sandals. Students may
wear hats; sun shades and sun screen
is strongly advised. Field Day is held on
the Kemp High School football field
(no shade). A concession stand will be
available, or students may bring a sack
lunch and drink. All parents attending are required to check in at the office to obtain a sticker after their license is scanned into our system. At
the end of the day, a parent with a
name sticker may check out their child
with their homeroom teacher . We
urge parents to come by the office as
early as possible. Waiting until the
morning of the event could result in
long lines and long waits!
Awards will take place on June 4th.
The third grade awards are scheduled
for 8:30 A.M., fourth grade awards are
scheduled for 9:30 A.M., and fifth
grade awards are scheduled for 10:30
A.M. with early release following at
12:15 P.M.
I have enjoyed having your child for
the 2014-2015 school year and
look forward to seeing you in August!

Kemp Summer Food Program
Mrs. D’Juana Acy, with “Nora’s Women of Purpose Summer Food Program,” informed K.I.S.D. of a program serving kids 18 years old and under, breakfast and
lunch at the Senior Citizens Center located at 300 N. Main, Kemp, Texas, June 8,
2015-August 24, 2015 at NO CHARGE.
