Grade 7 and Panorama Photo Orders
The panorama photo has arrived and is in the window in
front of the office where all students can come and look.
A Grade 7 photo has also come in and is posted in the
Grade 7 class. You can purchase these pictures if you
wish at a cost of $12.00 each. Order forms are available
in the office for the panorama photo and in the grade 7
class room for the grade 7 photo. Last date to order a
copy is Tues. April 21st. After that date, you can still
order, but you must pay a $10.00 late fee and you have
to order direct from the Lifetouch office in Winnipeg.
Kindergarten registration
If you have not already done so, and have a child who was
born in the year 2010 who will be attending Kindergarten
at Kinnikinnick in September, we would appreciate it if
you could come in and register your child. This
information is vital in helping us determine our classroom
configurations for September. Please bring in the child’s
birth certificate or passport, their care card and
something (drivers license or utility bill) that shows your
present address.
Family Fun night
We will be having another Family Fun night this Wednesday evening
from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Ted Chisholm will be here leading families
in a number of fun cooperative activities. If it is a nice evening we
hope to have some games outside. As well we will have board games
set up in the multipurpose room for those that want a quieter
activity. If you have any board games at home that you could share
for the evening please bring them along. Also we ask that each
family bring a snack to share with others. Hope to see you there.

Dad and Me Dance
The Rotary Club is hosting the Dad and Me dance at
Chatelech Secondary again this year on May 12th
from 6 – 9 pm. It is for girls 5 – 13 years old and
their fathers, uncles or any special man in their life.
Tickets will be on sale Mon. April 27th at Sechelt
and Gibsons Credit Unions, Wilson Creek and
Gibsons IGA and Stephanson’s Fuels.
The Circus is coming to Kinnikinnick!
During the month of April students at Kinnikinnick
will be learning a number of circus tricks to perform
for our parent community. Under the supervision of
Geraldo, a former Cirque du Soleil member we are
preparing a show called the Flight of the Monarch
Butterflies. This will be performed on the
afternoon of May 1st at Kinnikinnick. We look
forward to seeing a packed house!!
Popcorn Sale on Friday
Grade 7’s are having another popcorn sale on Friday,
April 17th. Popcorn will be available for .50¢ per bag.
