Legacy Giving Continues
 Please continue to give greatly to our “Legacy Offering” as we still have
great expenses to cover and ultimately a mortgage we want to retire
quickly. Thank God for each of you who have given and are giving to the
Legacy project.
Men’s Ministry
 Men’s Revival Service – This Friday, May 15th at 7pm the men
of Kettering will come together for a Men’s Revival Service as we seek
to revive the hearts of men back towards God. Join us in the spirit of
Psalm 51:10 which says “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a
steadfast spirit within me”. Let’s rekindle the fire in our hearts for an
omniscient, omnipresent & omnipotent God.

Senior Safety Seminar
 There will be a free Senior Safety Seminar at Kettering Baptist Church
this Wednesday, May 13th from 1 - 2:30pm in the Fellowship
Hall. The Prince Georges County Sheriff, Melvin High will facilitate the
seminar and will be sharing with us his insight and expertise on different
ways to keep our precious seniors safe in terms of their physical safety as
well as how to avoid scams aimed at seniors. The seminar would be very
helpful to seniors, their care-givers, their families, and to anyone who is
concerned about the safety of seniors. For additional information please

Calling Youth Ages 11-18
 The Youth Ministry is going to the SKY ZONE this Friday, May 15th.
The cost is $25 per person and that includes entry into Sky Zone and
food. Money will be collected after every service in room 208. The vans
will leave sharply at 6:45pm and return at 10:30pm. If you have any

Praying for Our Community
 Come and join Kettering Baptist Church at 7pm on Wednesday, May
27th, June 17th, and July 1st, for a community prayer walk. The
purpose of the prayer walk is to seek God’s guidance for our community
and to pray for the salvation of the unsaved. Someone’s life in our
community is in need of your presence and prayer. Please come out and
pray for our community.
Lead Like Jesus Experience
 This is the class every Christian has been waiting for and needs to move
to the next level as a disciple and leader. These lessons from the greatest
Leader ever will help to align head and heart with the hands and habits
of the believer. The cost is $25 which covers materials and will take
place on Saturdays, June 13th and, June 20th. On each day the time
frame will be 8am to 12:30pm. For additional information contact

“Alive” Young Adults (AYA)
 AYA! Revival: Attention! Attention! Attention! all young adults ages
18-28, come worship with Kettering’s “ALIVE” Young to Build a Legacy”
Revival on Friday, May 29th at 7pm. Come out and bring your Adult
Ministry for a great and exciting time in the LORD at the “ALIVE IN
CHRIST friends for an experience to remember.
 AYA! Bible Study: All ALIVE young adults don’t forget to join us every
first and third Friday for the study of God's Word from 7- 9pm. We are
developing young adults into mature Christians through evangelism,
fellowship, and the study of HIS word. So dare to be ALIVE in Christ. Dare to
build a legacy. Join us. AYA!

Praise Dance Night
 The Praise Dance Ministry will be hosting Praise Dance Night on Sunday,
June 7th at 4pm. The theme for this year's program is "Building An Eternal
Legacy," and will feature special guests and several dance ministries from
local churches. Please come out and support. Admission is free. For questions,

Missions Ministry
Are you willing to labor in the Lord’s field?
 Youth Missions Trip - Youth ages 12-18 years will be traveling on
missions to Norfolk, VA, Monday, July 6th - Saturday, July
11th. Mission activities will include sharing Christ in various venues
including: summer camp, nursing home ministry, feeding programs,
neighborhood clean-up, Bible Study etc. There are a limited number of spaces
available so please contact Heather Chapman by May 17th on if interested.
 Adult Missions Trip - Adults 21 and over will travel on a mission’s
trip July 26th – July 31st. We will reach out and help at risk children,
youth, and families in the Philadelphia, PA area. There may also be
opportunities for light construction, yard work, and park evangelism. Sign
up and experience love and life in a new way as you build relationships with
people who need the hope and encouragement of Jesus. There are a limited
number of spaces. Please contact Nikki Barnes by May 17th.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
 VBS is set to take place Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June
26th. The Day portion of VBS will begin on Wednesday, June 24th
through Friday, June 26th due to the school system changing the last day
of school. Evening VBS will take place the entire week. Volunteers are
needed in different areas to ensure VBS operates as a ministry of
excellence. Sign-up sheets are available on the bulletin board. For

Women Enrichment Ministry
 Women’s Revival/Women's Day "Sisters Building An
Eternal Legacy" Matthew 5:13-16: The Women's Enrichment
Ministry invites all ladies of all ages to our Women's Revival which
will be held on Friday, June 12th at 7 pm. This personal invitation
is for you! Our guest speaker will be 1st Lady Ellen Barney of New
Antioch Baptist Church Randallstown, MD. Sisters, come join us as
we come together as one to be refreshed, renewed, and revived.
 Calling Sisters of All ages: The Women's Enrichment Ministry
invites you to join us in celebrating Women's Day on Sunday, June
14th. We are looking forward in having a 100 plus women's day choir
as we celebrate "Sisters Building an Eternal Legacy," Matthew 5:1316. Our colors are white or off white. The rehearsal dates are
Tuesday, June 2nd and 9th at 7:30 pm and Saturday, June 6th
and 13th at 12 noon. Please mark your calendars and we will see
