Mrs. Kasmir Kaur (VP) Dear Parents, ISSUE 18 March 26, 2015 WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH! TOWARDS VASAIKHI 2015 VAISAKHI- THE BIRTH OF KHALSA Next month we will be celebrating the birth of Khalsa in a grand way. Students are encouraged to wear the Sikhi Bana to school for the whole month of April. Khalsa colors are white, black, orange and blue. Also look out for our Khalsa Action Week program – Do Not Miss Out on Prizes for outstanding participation. Admission for 2015/16: Administration is currently preparing the class lists for next year. To enable us to plan ahead, we advise parents to take advantage of the early bird discount (which ends on March 31, 2015). With a strong base in GurSikhi values and excellence in academic studies – students are laying down strong foundations which will last a life time. So, please do not delay and secure a place for your child. You need to pay 4 months fees and submit 2 postdated checks (3 months each) for the coming 6 months. Also, as satisfied parents – pass the word around to friends and families so that their children can also enjoy the safe educational environment that Khalsa School provides. KG intakes for session 2015/16 have commenced since Nov 2014 and are open to all children born in 2010. Enroll your child TODAY! After School Tutoring – Term 3: Tutorials will be from April 8th to June 12th, 2015. Classes will run for 4 days a week, Monday to Friday (except Wednesday). The cost is $ 7.00/day. Forms are available at the front office. All learning assistance students are urged to register. KG Vision and Hearing testing: The public health nurses will be coming on April 2 to our primary school. All 8 KG classes will be tested. Newsletters to parents will be sent out shortly. Uniform Concerns: Khalsa School has regulated school uniforms in place. All parents were informed about uniforms at the point of registration.
