Sunnystones Country Retreat
Dear Level 3 (Years 3 and 4) Parents,
Arrangements for the 2015 Level 3 (Years 3 and 4) Camp to “Sunnystones Country Retreat”
Bacchus Marsh have now been finalised and confirmed. The Camp is being held from
Wednesday 27th May to Friday 29th May, 2015.
Children will be experiencing activities covering areas from the Science, Technology, Health &
Physical Education and Interpersonal domains.
Activities include a low ropes course, initiative course, bush art, orienteering, environmental walk,
bush hut building and team games. These are only a sample of the activities that will be made
available. The single most important benefit of the camp program lies in the social interactions that
occur when living for a few days in an isolated, cohesive community.
Travel to and from the Camp will be in seat belt equipped Coaches.
The total cost of the camp will be $210.00 for 2 nights and 3 days.

It is an expectation that the costs are fully paid by the due date in order for students to attend.

I understand that in the event of my son’s/daughter’s misbehaviour, or behaviour that poses a
danger to himself/herself or others during the camp, he/she may be sent home. I further
understand that in such circumstances I will be informed and that any costs associated with
his/her return will be my responsibility.
Consent for emergency transportation
In the event of an emergency I consent to my child being transported in a privately owned vehicle
driven by a member of the supervisory staff.
I have read all the above information provided by the school in relation to the excursion, including
any attached material.
