The Redemptorist
Mission Team:
We are delighted to welcome members of the Redemptorist Mission Team who will speak
at all Masses this weekend ahead of our forthcoming Parish Mission next weekend. We
encourage as many parishioners as possible to make some time in their busy schedule to
attend the Mission during this Lent. A great preparation for Easter!

The next baptism preparation meeting is on Thursday 2nd April 2015 at 8p.m. in The Parish
Centre. All baptisms take place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 4p.m. in
Kingscourt Church.
Tuesday is the feast day of our national Patron, Saint Patrick who brought the faith to
Ireland. We encourage all parishioners to mark this day of faith by joining at Mass in our
Parish. The Vigil Masses on Monday are at 6p.m. in Kingscourt and 7.30p.m. in Muff. On
Saint Patrick’s Day, Masses are at 9a.m. in Corlea and 10.30a.m. & 12noon in Kingscourt.
There will be No Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass on Tuesday in the Parish
Centre owing to Saint Patrick’s Day.
The final night of our annual Lenten Novena takes place in Kingscourt on this Wednesday
night at 8p.m. The guest celebrant and preacher is Very Rev. Richard Gibbons, Parish
Priest of Knock Shrine.
Thursday next is the feast of Saint Joseph, Patron of Corlea Church. You are invited to a
community Mass in Corlea on Thursday at 7.30p.m. to mark the occasion.
We wish a blessing on all Mothers on this Mothers Day.

Pope Francis has recently encouraged all Catholics to visit the Holy Land because
“everything started there and is a glimpse of what awaits us in the afterlife – heaven on
earth.”

You are asked to complete the CHY Tax Form and return to the Parish Office by March
17th. The parish will be able to recoup additional finance from Revenue at no additional
cost to the Donor.
