Kyle Matthew Oliver began his career in the department of engineering physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a Advanced Fuel Cycle Initiative fellow, programmer and systems analyst in the Computational Nuclear Engineering Research Group, and co-founder of The Hacker Within, a peer training group for computational scientists. He left the program in 2009 to pursue ordination in the Episcopal Church and is now priest and digital missioner in the Center for the Ministry of Teaching at Virginia Theological Seminary. His new job is teaching church people how to understand and use technology, so his interest in digital identity is the social, philosophical, and theological questions these new legal frameworks raise.
