range. This new R-22 C series now offers an innovative flat panel design and its
large capacity models deliver even greater energy efficiencies.
COMFORT
By removing the grooves from the front panel, Daikin has made it much easier to clean
this area. These flat panel models can be wiped in an instant by a single pass of a cloth
across their smooth surface. If more thorough cleaning is required, the panel can also be
easily removed from the unit.

• A quiet indoor unit is essential for your personal comfort,
and a quiet outdoor unit is just as important for peace in
your neighborhood. The C series offers industry-low
sound levels of 28 dB(A) for indoor operation and 46
dB(A) for outdoor unit operation.
• The vertical auto swing automatically moves the flaps up
and down to ensure an even distribution of air throughout
the room.
• The smoothly curved wide angle louvers provide wide air
flow coverage for effective cooling operation no matter
where the indoor unit is placed in the room. The louvers can
be manually adjusted.

FILTER
• This wall mounted unit is equipped with an air purification filter with photocatalytic
deodorising function. The filter is able to trap microscopic particles, decompose odours
and even remove bacteria and deactivate viruses. The filter lasts for 3 years without
replacement if washed about every 6 months.

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION AND EASY TO USE AND MAINTAIN
• The FT50,60C units support a piping length of up to 30m to give more flexibility
during the installation of the unit. This allows the outdoor unit to be placed on a
balcony or where it can not be seen. The indoor units can also be installed where they do
not compromise the décor of a room.
• Daikin remote controls give you easy control at your fingertips
• Malfunction codes are shown on the digital display panel of the wireless remote control
for fast and easy maintenance.
• Special anti-corrosion treatment
of the outdoor unit’s heat exchanger
fin, gives greater resistance against
acid rain and salt corrosion.
Additional resistance is provided by
a rust proof steel sheet on the
underside of the unit.

• Higher energy savings:
With its new large-capacity FT50/60C, Daikin has
optimised the balance between the indoor and outdoor units for the heat exchanger to give higher
COPs than for conventional models. FT50C provides
an industry-leading COP of 3.31. This is 25% higher
than for conventional models. FT50/60C is specially
designed to deliver outstanding energy efficiency
when operating for long periods in large spaces such
as living rooms and small shops.
