The World Heritage Exhibition in
KPS, Nehru Nagar
To commemorate the World Heritage Day the students of Class III to VIII of Krishna Public
School, Nehru Nagar had arranged an exhibition in their huge Natraj Hall on the 25th of April ‘
2015 to enlighten the people and pay homage to the rewound Historical structures of the world.
The students and the teachers had laboratory & diligently worked in creating a very pleasing and
informative atmosphere with numerous working and static models. The entire exhibition was
divided into 6 countries - India, Spain, Africa, China, Australia & Japan.
The models were based on the famous heritage sites of the mentioned countries, the famous
personalities there, their cusine, the dresses they were & even the animals found in these
countries.
The spectators got to see small replica of the pyramid sphinx the Great Wall of China, the
Heaven’s Temple of China. The Howrah Bridge. Taj Mahal, Red Fort and many more rewound
structures.
Models of Panda bear - found in China, the Camel - ship of the Desert, the leopard. Kangaroos marsupials of Australia made a pleasing and entertaining sight. Students had made games of
Quiz to further entertain the spectators.
Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Laxmi Bai, Nelson Mandella & the Cricketer Don Bradmen were some
which stood out among the others.
The students had even prepared some cuisines of these countries and displayed them artistically.
Spains famous Tomalina festival had also not escaped the notice of the students who pleased
everyone by a very brief exhibition of the festival with accurate explanation of the same for the
benefit of the spectators.
Beautiful girls in cute Japanese costumes of Kemona and elaborate hair dos were seen serving
greater demurely were a sight to behold.

Mr.M.M.Tripathi & Mr. Anand Kumar Tripathi who praised the effort of the students and the
teachers and said it is due to their hard work that they were able to display such beautiful
exhibits in such a short duration. Mr. Anand Kumar Tripathi said he could visualize the world
within the four walls of room.
The Principal Mrs. Savita Tripathi praised and congratulated the teachers. She highlighted the
importance of co - curricular training for the students for the development of an all square
personality. Taking an earnest interest into the matter the school will start a Summer Camp from
29th of April to 9th of May where students would be taught various things the yoga, meditation,
karate, cooking without fire. Art & Craft, Music & Dance etc. Beautiful samples of art and craft
and some mouth watering samples of what to be cooked during this time were on display to give
the parents and students some ideas of what to expect during this Summar Camp. The students
would be taken to visit M. M. Funcity on the 8th of May.
Overall, as the first exhibition of the year, it was a very memorable and successful endeavor of
the students. Some of the student who were there to explain various models for the parents and
outsiders were - Shristi Garg, Anshi Agrawal, Shambhavi, Devyani, Arona and Suryansh
Tripathi.
The teachers who assisted were Mrs. Bobby Das, Seema Issar, Seema Mazumdar, Tanushree
Bose, Priya Vaishnav, Juhi Naaz, Vaishali Jagdale, Kanchan, Sarika, Jaya James etc.
The Headmistress Madam Prashi Tiwari & Mrs. Monika Sengupta attended the exhibition along
with the Chief designer Mrs. Rakhi Tripathi.
