On August 1, 2015, financial institutions will be required to
use the new integrated mortgage disclosure forms for the
Truth in Lending Act-CFPB Regulation Z and the Real
Estate Settlement Procedures Act-CFPB Regulation X on
most consumer mortgage loans. These forms will
significantly change what information is disclosed, how it
is disclosed and when it is disclosed to consumers.
This two-hour seminar will provide lenders, compliance
officers and legal counsel with the information needed to
comply with the new requirements, including:
- A review of the loans subject to the new rules;
- A step-by-step review of how to complete the new Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms;
- A sample timeline setting out when disclosures need to be provided to consumer applicants;
- Answers to frequently asked questions regarding the new rules and forms.
