Contextual Description Political Action Committees (PACs) Political Action Committees (PACs) exist for the sole purpose of advancing the political interests of their constituent members. Every PAC is founded on various principles which its members agree are critical to their interests impacting government. By collecting donations and raising money by corporate sponsors, a PAC is able to build relationships in congress and gain political influence to affect change in the interest of the PAC members. Your PAC represents citizens of the Boys State of Kansas with similar interests and will work to advance these interests and values by supporting candidates for public election and lobbying for specific legislation in congress. Some of the specific interest for each PAC are described in this document. While these values are listed below, they may be adapted to the beliefs of the current PAC members. Farmers Alliance Farmers and farming communities constitute an important part of Boys State. The members of the Farmers Alliance speak for the issues important to farmers in the State.
