Removal Process
•

RevolutionTM E Aeration System
The RevolutionTM E System includes an aeration tank, a PVC head incorporating a built-in
adjustable micronizer (adjustment screw, nozzle and venturi), internal air release float, and
instrumentation, all in one package, along with an ExeterlineTM filter. The pressure gauges
allow the installer to make adjustments to suit the best air draw, and a stainless steel bypass
valve allows for ease of service.

When the well pump is filling the RevolutionTM Aeration Tank the nozzle and venturi draw air into the mineral tank.
As the air is drawn into the mineral tank, the water level drops to approximately 14” below the top of the mineral tank and the air release float assembly opens allowing excess air to be released.
As the air is released from the mineral tank the water level rises to approximately 10” below the top of the mineral tank and the air release float assembly closes.

Economical, single-tank ExeterlineTM AirregenTM units use natural air oxidization plus filter media to treat low to moderate amounts of iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide odor. AirregenTM units do not require salt, chemicals, or external air injectors. Contaminants in water are
first oxidized through a compressed air pocket, then filtered and trapped by the media bed.

1” REPCO MICRONIZER
This Micronizer consists of a high strength PVC body. As
water flows through the body of the Micronizer, it passes
through the venturi. This creates a vacuum that draws air
into the flow stream. The amount of air entering the system
can be adjusted using the bypass screw located on the side
of the Micronizer body.

3/4” BRASS AIR INJECTOR
This Micronizer consists of a brass body, injector and bypass
screw. It is designed to be installed in the water line just
before the inlet to the well tank. As water passes through
the Micronizer, air is drawn into the water stream. Air flow
is adjustable using the bypass screw on the side of the brass
body.

1” DIAL MICRONIZER
This Micronizer is designed to be installed in the water line
just prior to the inlet of the hydro-pneumatic tank it serves.
This mechanism is a venture that draws air into the water
line through the air inlet/check valve combination to continually charge the tank with air. The excess air in the tank is
relieved through an air release assembly installed in the tank.

1” PLASTIC MICRONIZER
This Micronizer consists of a high impact Celcon™ plastic
body containing two water passages. The water passage
closest to the check valve forms a venturi. The venturi
causes air to be drawn into the water stream when water is
flowing. The second passage acts as a bypass. The percentage of water flow allowed through the bypass assembly is
regulated by manually adjusting the bypass screw. This in
turn regulates the amount of air drawn into the water stream
through the venturi.

Meter Control Switch Box Description and Application:
• The Meter Control Switch Box uses the 12 V AC output from
the packaged meter control (above) to operate an ice cube
relay to deliver 115 volts to the pre-wired auxiliary output
plug.

• Assembled in a 4x4 in. electrical box enclosure.

• The Meter Control Switch Box is for use only with a 12 V
AC input, and is specifically designed for use with the REPCO
Meter Control P/N BUB-080.
Operation:
1. When 12 V AC is applied to the terminal block, the internal
ice cube relay powers the 115 V AC auxiliary output plug.
2. Use this 115 V auxiliary output plug to operate an appropriate air pump, chemical feed pump, or to power any other
applications that are less than 1/8 horse power, 115 V, such
as auxiliary alarm light or horn.

Water Testing
As a service to our customers, we in house provide water testing. We test for
hardness, iron, pH, chlorides, manganese, alkalinity, and tannins. We work
with a State Certified laboratory to provide additional testing, including, but not
limited, arsenic and arsenic speciation, radon, bacteria, and other SWDA tests.
Water testing allows us to properly recommend water treatment systems to
our customers.

Many government agencies recommend that the following tests be conducted
every 3 to 5 years for private water wells: arsenic, bacteria, chloride, copper,
fluoride, hardness, iron, lead, manganese, nitrate/nitrite, pH, sodium, radon,
uranium, analytical gross alpha, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
In addition, it is recommended that bacteria and nitrate be tested annually.
While some contaminants will alter odor, taste, and the color of water; other
contaminants are tasteless, colorless, and odorless, which can only be
detected by laboratory testing, adding to the importance of having water
tested periodically.
