A RBQ License is required by General Contractors in order to be able to work (off-reserve) in Quebec and before they are able to bid on construction projects. We are a 12 bed residential treatment facility that provides services in both English and French. Our Center has maintained accreditation status since 1999 from Accreditation Canada which is on-going. Position Qualifications: Fully bilingual in both English and French languages Completion of an Alcohol & Substance Abuse Addictions Counselor’s Diploma, Degree in Counseling/Psychology or a bachelor in Social Work, or a General Counselor’s Program Diploma. Applicants who can demonstrate the proper combination of experience and other certification may also be considered in areas of Counseling, Psychology, Social Work. Excellent knowledge of issues relating to substance abuse and mental health Ability to do individual and group therapy including the preparation of resident’s aftercare plans. Manage a client caseload of four clients throughout each treatment program Support existing program values, approaches and philosophies Driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle Police Verification Medical Certificate of Good Health. Position Assets: Ability to work autonomously Willing to work flexible hours Living a personal lifestyle free of substance abuse Demonstrated work experience with First Nations individuals or communities Demonstrated work experience in a Human Services field Past work experience in a rehabilitation treatment facility CPR/First Aid certification or willing to get training within 3 months.
