Tony Watkins, head girls’ basketball coach at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, has
guided the Lady Bears to the GHSA State Playoffs in every season since he stepped
on Campus in 2008. Holy Innocents’ has an overall record of 172-37 under Coach
Watkins’ leadership. The Lady Bears have won the Region Championship in each of
the last three seasons, while reaching the GHSA Final Four in 2013 and the GHSA
Finals in 2014 and 2015. Coach Watkins was named the GACA Region Coach of the
Year in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and was recognized by the Atlanta Tip-Off Club as the
Garland Pinholster Metro-Atlanta Girls Coach of the Year (Class 1A-3A) in 2014 and
2015.

Young Lady Hoopers,I would like to invite you to Lady Bears Basketball Camp at Holy Innocents’.
Basketball for me is a way of life, and it is our goal to grow and promote girls’ basketball in the Atlanta
area. Whether you are new to the game or an experienced player, my staff and I are dedicated to give you
the best camp experience possible, and more importantly, to make you a better player. I look forward to
seeing you this summer!

About Our Assistant Director:
Coach Mekisha Parks has been a staple in Lady Bears Basketball
for the last twenty years. Before returning to her alma mater to
teach and coach, Parks played collegiately at Emory University.
Prior to attending Emory, Parks experienced a stellar prep career
at Holy Innocents’ where she led the Lady Bears to a Final Four
appearance in 1997 and a State Runner Up in 1998.
