Distinguished Alumni Awards
DEAR PROSPECTIVE SPONSOR,
The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) College of Law would
like to offer you the opportunity to become a sponsor of our Distinguished Alumni
Awards to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the stately atrium of the law school, 201
Beggs Avenue, Orlando, Florida. Since graduating its first class in 2005, our alumni
have excelled in their chosen professions—whether actually practicing law or utilizing
their degrees in other industries. The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognizes
College of Law alumni for their outstanding personal or professional achievements.
Recipients will be selected from the alumni base of more than 1,000 who were
members of the last 10 graduating classes. In addition, a special Legacy Award will be
presented to a graduate from the original College of Law.
Your support, whether you choose the Liberty and Truth, Equality, Justice, or
Freedom sponsorship level, will help to ensure that the FAMU College of Law alumni
are recognized for their contributions to the legal and broader Central Florida
community.
This year’s event will include a private reception to celebrate A Decade of Distinction,
the 10th anniversary of our 2005 graduating class, followed by the awards ceremony
which will feature an elegant seated dinner. Proceeds from the event will help support
alumni programs and activities as well as to establish an endowed alumni-supported
scholarship.

Sponsorship Opportunities
SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The terms and conditions outlined herein have been established for the mutual
benefit and protection of the sponsor, event patrons and Florida Agricultural and
Mechanical University (FAMU). Sponsor agrees to pay amount indicated under the
appropriate sponsorship level as determined by the FAMU Foundation, Inc. In order
to fully execute this contract, payment should be submitted in full upon receipt of
the contract. The FAMU Foundation reserves the right to withdraw the sponsorship
or advertisement if payment is not received within five business days of receipt of
said contract. No refunds will be made after receipt of payment. Sponsorship and
advertising for this event are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sponsors are
responsible for providing the FAMU Foundation with the company logo* and cameraready ad copy for use along with the appropriate web link address.
