2. Screw the replacement cartridge into the
funnel.
3. Fill the funnel with water, let it filter
then empty it. Repeat this operation once
or twice.
4. The water filter is now ready for use.
The filter service is as follows:
1 user – 80 days, 2 users – 60 days, 3 users
– 40 days, 4 users – 30 days).
During normal use, you may notice a
small number of fine black particles
in the water; these particles are called
carbon fines. Granular Activated Carbon filters (GAC) will release a small
amount of carbon fines during use.
Carbon fines are safe to consume, they
are made of charcoal, which is used
medicinally to absorb toxic material
from the body

GUIDE
1. Clean the funnel reservoir and pitcher
in the dishwasher or by hand using a mild
detergent.
2. The lid must not be washed in the
dishwasher. Clean the lid with a soft damp
cloth by hand.
3. After Pre Soaking a new filter (see new
filter instruction) screw the cartridge firmly
into the base of the funnel reservoir.
4. Place the funnel reservoir into the top of
the pitcher.
5. Fill the funnel reservoir with cold water
and wait until the water in the funnel
reservoir has filtered into the pitcher. Please
allow up to 15 minutes for the water to
filter through to clean and activate the filter
cartridge. Discard water.
6. Repeat steps 1 – 5 twice to rinse away
any loose activated carbon particles to
prepare the new cartridge for use.
7. When filling the alkaline antioxidant
water pitcher do not place the filter
cartridges’ opening directly under the
running water.
8. The pitcher should periodically be
cleaned with mild soapy water and dried
with a soft cloth. Please ensure that the
filter cartridge is removed prior to cleaning.
9. In order to preserve the life of the filter
cartridge it should always stay in contact
with water, we suggest leaving the pitcher
filled overnight and discarding the water
the next morning.
NOTICE CAUTION:
1. Do not pour carbonated drinks, milk,
coffee, tea or other similar liquids into the
Alkaline Water pitcher when the cartridge
is in place. Doing so may reduce or destroy
the cartridge filter properties.
2. Do not use in the microwave or heat on a
stove. Please store in a cool, dry place.
3. If you are not accustomed to
Alkaline Water please go slowly in order to
allow time for your body to adjust.
