PARIS COPRODUCTION VILLAGE REVEALS ITS PROJECT SELECTION
Organized by Les Arcs European Film Festival and Champs-Elysées Film Festival, PARIS
COPRODUCTION VILLAGE is a development and financing platform for feature projects
selected worldwide.
For its second edition, which will take place June 10-12, 2015 in Paris, the 14 following projects
have been selected:

This selection aims at showing the diversity of world cinema, in terms of geography as well as a
balance between newcomers and experienced directors. It includes:
- 5 European projects, 3 projects from Asia and 6 projects from Latin America including 3
projects part of the Brazilian Focus
- 6 first and second feature films projects (marked with * / **)
Brazil will be the guest country of this second edition.
In partnership with Cinema do Brasil, Paris Coproduction Village will present this year a
« Brazilian Focus », inviting 3 Brazilian projects in development. A conference, organised with
the support of the CNC, will take place during the event and will discuss the improvement of the
French-Brazilian co-production framework.
In addition, the 6 residents of the Cannes Film Festival Cinéfondation will join the selection:

- « A Ciambra » de Jonas Carpignano (Italy)
- « The Grave Digger » de Khadar Ahmed (Finland)
- « Passed by Censor » de Serhat Karaaslan (Turkey)
- « El Hombre de la Mancha » de Neto Villalobos (Costa Rica)
- « Alfa » de Una Gunjak (Bosnia Herzegovina / Italy)
All these projects will benefit from one-to-one pre-scheduled meetings with producers, sales
agents, distributors, from networking events, as well as seminars taught by leading film industry
professionals.
This platform complements the 4th edition of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival's US-INPROGRESS programme which screens 6 independent US feature films in late stage of postproduction, seeking sales representatives:

Paris Coproduction Village is supported by the Ile-de-France Region and the CNC. It is
organized in collaboration with our partners Cannes Cinéfondation, Cofiloisirs, Ile de France
Film Commission, Producers Network, ACE, EAVE, Cinando, Europa International, Variety,
Écran Total, Screen International, CPH:DOX, Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF)
and Cineuropa. As part of the Brazilian Focus, Cinema Do Brasil is also partner of the event this
year.

The 7th edition of Les Arcs European Film Festival will take place from December 12th to
December 19th. The call for projects for Les Arcs Coproduction Village will be launched in
June with a deadline for applications on September, 30th, 2015.
The know-how and the success of the Coproduction Villages can once again be observed
this year in Cannes, with five films « labelled » Les Arcs in the Official Selection:
