LHHS Band Spring Trip 2016 TRIP BASICS Approximate Travel Dates: Estimated March 4 -8, 2016 to coincide with Spring Break (March 7-11) Exact dates depend on availability of airfare for trip selected and other considerations. Cemetery • Catamaran sail along Waikiki – look for dolphins and other sea creatures • Tour the Eastern shore- Blowhole, big surf waves, and film location of Lost Possible Itinerary and other shows/movies Highlights: • Kualoa Ranch Secret Island Private Beach Adventure with lots of water sports and beach activities with authentic Hawaiian luau • Optional individual activities - hiking up Diamond Head, snorkeling, parasailing, or just Hanging Loose! LOS ANGELES, CA – 4 nights • Visit Hollywood (Walk of Stars, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, Kodak Theater and the Hollywood sign), and visit the Santa Monica Pier • 2 Days (with Park Hopper admission) to Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks. Rides, fireworks, parades - everything Disney offers! • Day trip choice: Visit the famous San Diego zoo OR take a San Diego Bay Cruise (search for whales, dolphins and other sea life) OR visit Universal Studios in Los Angeles. • Visit the famous Los Angeles Farmers Market for shopping and strolling While at Disneyland, students participate in a Disney Performing Arts Workshop where students have a real life soundstage experience like professional musicians. $1000 - $1200 per student • • Actual total trip cost of $1300-$1500 reduced by a $300 subsidy from LHABC.
