Spring 2015
LCT served BBQ plates of chicken and sausage to over 750 attendees at the Colton Childers

Faithbridge Church in Deer Park.
Colton is 3 years old and was
born with Alagille Syndrome, a
disease that causes liver damage.
He has had over 15 surgeries and
3 liver transplants. Friends, family and church members turned out
in great numbers to make this
benefit a huge success.
HAYNIE SPIRIT FEST
LCT participated in the Haynie Spirit
Festival serving BBQ dinners to the
crowd. The annual event was held
May 2 at Independence Park in
Pearland, and raises funds for the
Haynie
Spirit

affected by Osteosarcoma. The foundation has donated over $30,000 to
MD Anderson for cancer research.

THANK YOU FOR THESE DONATIONS!

Many thanks to CARDINAL CULINARY for the donation of the Refrigerated
Truck. Having this additional asset will make our compliance with Health
Department requirements so much easier. This type of equipment is such a blessing at times of large events, as well as for emergency response. Thank you Mike,
Adam, Pat, Cliff and everyone at Cardinal Culinary.
Page 5
Chef Cliff from Cardinal Culinary presented a
token of appreciation from the Spindletop
Organization for the use of a Lighthouse
Cooking Unit at their annual golf tournament.
Thank you Cardinal!
A Big THANK YOU to AJ CORSO and WORLD
WIDE PARTS & EQUIPMENT for the donation
of our Lighthouse Charity Team Service Truck complete with a Welding Machine, Air
Compressor, Steel Cutting Rig, and a 5,000 lb
Crane with outriggers for safety. This has been a
much needed vehicle to help us on- site at events
with the mechanical aspect of keeping all running
smoothly, and will not be far from our events from
now on. Making lasting relationships is the goal of
Lighthouse Charity Team and AJ and World Wide
have been friends and supporters with us for over
15 years. Thank you Ding Ding-aka AJ. (Hey
McRee - it’s a Ford, not sure what we would have
done if it was another make).
We appreciate the donation of this refrigerated truck last year from the GALVESTON COUNTY FOOD BANK. With this additional vehicle, we are now able to have a truck at both the Friendswood Operations Center as well as the Galveston Operations
Center. In addition to the Galveston Food Bank, we also need to thank ADOBE EQUIPMENT for their donation of a complete
maintenance and repair of everything needed to assure quality operations and safety.
After Adobe did their work, this unit was
taken to our Image Company - JMH
SANDBLASTING & COATINGS (Todd &
Kim Nelms and Martin & Nicole Griffin).
Their crews did a wonderful job of painting
and customizing this unit to match our
other equipment. JMH Sandblasting has
done so much for us over the last 15 years ALL WE CAN SAY IS, “THANK YOU SO
MUCH, WE WOULD NOT BE WHERE
WE ARE WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT” !
JMH has been a major donor of the customization on our equipment as well as a
Major Donor at our Annual Fundraiser.
Everyone who knows them, please take time
to say Thank You.
