Security & Safety: Our facility has a staffed, monitored security entrance and strict visitor procedures, including required check-in for all campers and visitors. Lunch: Campers bring their own sack lunches and beverages. Lunch must be vegetarian or dairy. (Please see our office for a list of suggested foods.) Camp Staff: All Camp staff are qualified teachers. All lead counselors have at least 5 years of experience in early childhood education. Staff Training: All camp staff participate in comprehensive staff training, health and safety training, are certified in CPR and First Aid, and pass a national criminal history background check. Our camp is staffed by professional early childhood-certified instructors and assistants who work to bring the fun and discovery of summer, including nature and outdoor play, to our youngest kids. Campers enjoy activities based on themes that change each week, in addition to recurring general and Jewish educational enhancement programs. Campers enjoy a variety of themed based weekly activities in addition to recurring weekly activities to enhance their Jewish summer camp experience. With fun and safety as our top priorities, your kids will have an exciting summer making new friends and reuniting with old ones. “Madriheem” (camp counselors) lead the campers and guide them through each exciting activity. Energy and enthusiasm shape the camping day through a variety of themebased programs each week. Recurring Activities Include: Sports Dodge Ball Soccer Gaga Ball & More! WEEKLY THEME PROGRAMS Groovy Artists: Campers get creative during this fun filled week full of hands-on activities and explore all aspects of art through painting, sketching, tie-dye crafts, and more! Mitzvah: Design bright cheery cards for Cook Children’s Hospital, collect and organize arts and craft material for the children at the hospital. Our first field trip of the summer goes to Painting with a Twist for a private painting party! Lights, Camera, Action!!: Make way for Stage West as they lead us on a journey through everything improvisation, costuming, screen writing and acting. Mitzvah: Share a performance with the preschool campers. We’ll expand our knowledge of drama and production as we enjoy a movie at the Omni Imax Theater. Game On: Just Do It! Sports, team work, strategy, physical fitness and healthy choices as we declare Game On! Mitzvah: Challenge community seniors to board games, old and new! We’ll sing “Take me out to the ballgame” for our field trip to Globe Life Park to watch the Texas Rangers take on the Oakland Athletics. MACH-1: We’ll be pushing the limits during this week’s Multi-Adventure Challenge (MACH-1). Campers can take on challenges from obstacle courses to treasure hunts. Mitzvah: Take the preschool campers to a Buddy Shabbat and help them through their treasure hunt. Our field trip goes to Lil’ Ninjas. This indoor obstacle course was inspired by the hit show American Ninja Warrior. With two regulation dodgeball courts and a half court for basketball on top of that, it’s the ultimate challenge. CAMP SHALOM: K - 8 DRAMA: Lego Master Builders: Do you have what it takes to become a Lego Master Builder? This week takes us through the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with engaging activities that allow campers to problem solve, collaborate, and reflect while having fun. Mitzvah: Think about ways to build our community and implement a plan on how to use STEM to enhance the lives of others. Enjoy a Lego Robotics lesson and an exciting field trip to a Discovery Center. H2O Madness: Come explore the wonderful world of water! Water slides, time on the Splash Pad, balloon tosses, and a visit from the snow cone truck! Mitzvah: Mindful of our future, Campers write their own pledges for cleaner water for delivery to our state officials. Splish Splash on a trip to an exciting waterpark. Wild West Adventure: Yeehaw! Go back in time to the good old days! Enjoy soap carving, weaving, gardening and more! Mitzvah: Tend the garden and harvest vegetables and fruits to take to our community seniors. Campers will take a step back in time at Azle Party Ranch where we will enjoy a swimming hole, pole fishing, hide-and-seek, and horseback riding. 9 Mystery Week: Mystery is all around us! Join us as we explore the wonders and mysteries of this world through experimentation and discovery. Mitzvah: Delve into research and deliver a hand crafted bookmark for patrons of the Fort Worth Public Library to enjoy.
