CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION
Organizer International Championships Committee Lima Golf Club,
sanctioned by Federación Peruana de Golf.

Dates 6 and 7 of April Practice rounds
8, 9, 10 and 11 of April Championship rounds
Team Competition Copa Manuel Prado: The Team Competition will be played over
72 holes in 4 days. Scores from both players in each team will be
added and the Team with the lowest aggregate over 72 holes will
be the winner.
Individual Competition Copa Carlos A. Raffo: The Individual Competition will be played
over 72 holes in 4 days. The player with the lowest score over 72
holes will be the winner.
Prizes Trophies for the winning and second place Teams in the Manuel
Prado Cup.

Player registration All players have to register at the Golf Office in the following
dates and times: Monday 6: from 09:00 to 13:00 hrs. and from
15:00 to 17:00 hrs., or Tuesday 7: from 09:00 to 13:00 hrs. The
registration fee per player is US$ 600.00, covering caddy fees and
meals during the week.
All players will sign a document recognizing the right of the
Committee to apply warnings or penalties in respect of the
established Pace of Play policy.
Handicap The course handicap of the participants cannot be more than 3
(index USGA 2.4) from the Blue tees at Lima Golf Club
Age Players have to be at least 14 years old at the day of start of the
Championships or follow through on December 31, 2015.
Practice Range Due to space limitations during Championship days, players will
have a 10 minute slot before their tee times, times for practice
will be posted it the daily Tee Time sheet. After the round
practice has no limitations.
Tee Times and Results
Will be published each day in the Club and thru the website:
www.limagolfclub.org.pe, where online scoring will be available.
Rules Play will be regulated by the Rules of Golf, including
specifications on clubs and balls, approved by R&A Rules Limited
in its current edition, its Decisions and the Local Rules approved
by the Committee.
Referees Competition Rules Committee and its designated daily Officials.
Advice Since the Manuel Prado Cup (Teams) and the Carlos A. Raffo Cup
(Individual) are played simultaneously Players in the same team
are not allowed to give advice to each other (Decision 8-1/22).
Caddies Use of Caddies is mandatory during Championship rounds.
Pace of Play The Committee has produced and given to each participant
during Registration a sheet with the allowed Pace of Play hole by
hole and for the whole round.
Decision of Ties In the case of a tie between 2 or more teams or players for any of
the Cups, they will proceed to a Sudden Death Playoff on the 18
hole. If the Tie persists the same method will be used until a
winner is decided.
In case the tie cannot be decided, the Committee will inform
players when the Sudden Death will be suspended due to
visibility issues.
In that case the winning team or player will be decided by
comparing scorecards of the last 18 holes, and in the case the tie
subsists by the score of the last 9 holes, if necessary last 6 holes,
if necessary last 3 holes, if necessary last hole. The last 18 holes
for all these effects are of hole 1 to 18. If the tie persists a draw
will decide the tie.
If the tie is for the second place in any of the Cups the tie will be
decided by the method in the last paragraph.
Etiquette
 Players have to wear their uniforms during all days of the
Championship.
 The use of measuring devices (Rule 14 -3) will be allowed
during the competition. Must be limited to measuring
distance only.
 Blue denim pants are not allowed.
 Shirts have to be tucked inside pants at all time.
 Players can use Bermuda shorts
 Soft Spikes are mandatory
 No hats or caps might be used inside the Clubhouse.
