Living links photo competition Weird and Wonderful Wildlife in My Park As well as being vital for the wellbeing of people, green spaces within urban areas can provide critical habitats for a wide range of wildlife. What’s living in your local park? Whether bug, bat, or bird – furred, scaled or feathered – send us a photo of the weird and wonderful creatures making a home in your local park, bushland reserve, trail, creek, wetland or beach from within the Living Links region. There are cash prizes up for grabs, plus the opportunity to exhibit your talent to the wider public. Judges will be looking for a combination of technical skill, artistic talent and subject choice that best showcases the important habitat values of natural public spaces in Melbourne’s south-east. About Living Links Living Links is a long-term ambitious project working to link up the natural open spaces in Melbourne’s south-east to create a world class ecosystem and open space network.
