The Functions of Calcium
- Calcium plays a major role in the development of plant cell walls, especially during the cell division stage.
- Calcium directly affects osmotic (water) potential of leaf tissue, by ensuring the integrity of cell membranes,
enabling more effective retention of plant tissue water.
- Calcium plays a key role in protecting cells from toxins and in slowing the ageing process.
- Ca++ is a dominant soil cation that occupies the majority of exchange sites in healthy turf soils and is
central to the creation and maintainence of a pedal soil structure.

For treatment of Calcium deficiency in tufgrass, apply Nutrisorb Ca9 in
sufficient volume of water to achieve uniform coverage and leave to dry
on foliage. Apply using a minimum dilution rate of 1 part NUTRIsorb to
100 parts water.

Chelated Liquid Calcium
Apply in sufficient volume of water to avoid drying on foliage and schedule irrigation as soon as is practicable to wash the ingredients down into
the root zone without excessive flushing.
Statement of Contents:
This product contains a minimum of 6.6% Nitrogen and 9.6% calcium, along with organic materials
including seaweed extracts, fulvic acid and L-form (low molecular weight) amino acids.
Caution:
Nutrisorb is made from mineral chelated fertilisers combined with natural organic substances and is
classified as non-toxic. However normal precautions should be taken. If eye or skin contact occurs,
wash affected area with plenty of water.
