London Opera Productions
present the 1774 Paris version of Gluck’s heart
rendering opera. The sumptuous music, full of
emotion, will not leave a dry eye in the house!
With orchestral trio and chorus, the audience
will experience this intimate production sitting
at tables, banqueting style, enjoying a long
interval supper of French specialities.
FREE Pre-performance talk at 7.30 pm.
Children from local Cross Ash School and Pen Y
Cwm Special School in Ebbw Vale will be
teaming up with professionals from
London Opera Productions for this spectacular
production sung in both
Welsh and English at Treadam Barn.
With professional soloists and orchestra.

Gospel meets Jazz
Cash bar and hot dog stand available
Bluesy Susie is one of Wales’ outstanding jazz
vocalists, having performed at Ronnie Scott’s
and at Brecon Jazz. She performs tonight with
guitarist Craig Webb and the TMC Youth Gospel
Choir and “Soul’d as Seen”, with music from the
likes of Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre,
Michael Jackson and Jason Robert Brown.

Enjoy the club style atmosphere with the
audience sitting at tables (food included,
served buffet style) as we welcome back
Kai Hoffman from Ronnie Scott’s
with her band. The American jazz singer,
recording artist and Queen of the Vintage Vocals
has been resident at Ronnie Scott’s in London
since 2008 with her fabulous swing & jump jive
band. We also welcome the highly acclaimed
Red Rug Trio as the support band.

with their musical Director
Sean O’Neill, former principle tuba of WNO
orchestra who will also give a short masterclass
with insight into the history of Brass Music
through the ages from Gabrielli to The Beatles.
Festival Evensong at 6pm.

by subscribing £12.50 per person
or £20 per couple.
You can include this when you book your
tickets or do it separately if you cannot attend
this year. For this you will receive early notice
of the Festival so that you may make priority
booking. You will also receive notice of other
limited events organised by the Festival.
The Festival depends for almost half of
its income on Sponsors and Friends
You can sponsor by cheque or regularly
by standing order.
