Thank you for submitting your application for CE approval to the Tennessee Chiropractic Association Educational Course Review
Program. After evaluation of your submission, we are pleased to inform you that 18 hours of your course titled Logan College of
Chiropractic Alumni Association 50th Homecoming & Midwest Conference, taking place on June 11-14, 2015 has been approved
for CE. Additionally, the 4 hours of the course on Acupuncture have been approved for those doctors licensed in TN who are
certified to perform Acupuncture. Your TCA Course Approval Number for this portion of your course is TN15C1008. A portion of
your course could not be approved due to the following:
4 hours of ICD-10 and 2 hours of documentation Topic matter of the course does not meet criteria based on
Tennessee statutes and rules or education criteria for this approval program.
Per the Board of Chiropractic Rules and Regulations and TCA Board guidelines courses that pertain to business
management of a chiropractic practice and/or insurance coding are not approved for continuing
education credit in Tennessee.
Approval of this course is based on the content submitted. Please note, should there be any changes to the approved course
content, location or date you would no longer meet the criteria required for approval. Adhering to requirements set forth,
you may now publicize and promote the approval of your course by using the language, “TCA Approved CE Course” along with
course approval number, on your promotional materials. TCA name should be in the same size, color and typeface as the rest
of the statement. The number of credit hours to be earned CANNOT be changed.
In order for this TCA Course Approval to be complete, within thirty (30) days following the approved course, please remit the
following information for each Tennessee licensee attending the approved event.
1.) Attendee list and verifications of attendance (must be maintained by the Course Provider for a minimum of four (4)
years per Board of Examiners (BOE) rule. Attendee records and verification information must meet requirements for
all course participants seeking TN continuing education.
2.) In order for the TCA to complete proper CE certificates, please provide the following:
a. Course participant’s name, email address, mailing address & TN license number
b. Course title
c. TCA course approval number
d. Course date(s)
e. Number of credit hours
f. $10 per participant seeking TN CE hours
