as well as 140 liter coolant tanks and air filters. The new reusable cloth bags will save the lab money while helping the environment.

• Eliminates The Mess Of “Wet” Paper Bag Failure - The ODC-1 reusable cloth vacuum bag does not fall apart when exposed to moisture when
using the “Water Mist Edge-Polishing Feature” on Optronics dry edgers.
• Reduces Replacement Part Costs – The cloth filter cover included with the ODC-1, filters dust that would
normally pass through the vacuum motors while not becoming clogged like paper covers. By improving the
removal of lens particulates (poly swarf) it extends motor and cutter life and improves
lens edge finish quality.

Easy To Use:
Installation for ODC-1 Vacuum Filter Bag and Filter Cover
NO Tools Required. Is installed and removed from the vacuum canister the same way as a paper bag
To empty the Re-Usable Cloth Vacuum Bag
• Liftthevacuummotorassemblyfromthe“red”canisterandremovetheclothbag.
• Placetheclothbagintoawastecontainerandopenthesidezipper.
• Holdthebagateachendwiththezippersidedownandgentlyliftsothewastematerialdropsoutof
the bag into the waste container.
(NOTE: shaking the bag may create air-borne dust and is not advised)
To Clean the Re-Usable Cloth Filter Cover
• WithAShopVac
– Vacuum any dust that has accumulated around the outside of the cover.
– Remove the retainer band located around the top (opened end) of the filter cover by pressing the
ends together and expanding the retainer ring.
– Slip the filter cover off the filter and inspect the foam filter located beneath. Vacuum all debris from
the foam filter .
– Replace the cloth filter cover and retainer ring making certain the foam filter is completely covered
by the cloth.

– Place the filter cover over a waste container.
– Remove the retainer band located around the top (opened end) of the filter cover by pressing the
ends together and expanding the retainer ring.
– Slip the filter cover off of the filter and brush any accumulated debris off.
– Inspect the foam filter located under the filter cover. If dirty, remove it and rinse it out with water.
NOTE: make certain that the foam filter is completely dry before reinstalling.
– Replace the cloth filter cover and retainer ring making certain the foam filter is completely covered
by the cloth.
