
All meetings are from 7.00pm – 9.00pm, unless otherwise shown below. Please try and arrive a few minutes
early so that we can start on time.

As you may have noticed parking up at HQ is somewhat of a problem, so can we please ask that you are
considerate to our neighbours at all times and do not obstruct the lane when dropping off or picking up.

On the 2nd Saturday of each month we collect wastepaper from around the village, raising several thousand
pounds per year which helps to keep the annual subscription low. This is only possible with volunteer help.
If you can spare an hour (we start at around 8am) collecting paper and bringing to Kent Fire and Rescue
training centre on the Loose road or just coming along and helping to unload cars please do. Even stacking
together the paper outside your house with that of your neighbour’s means we only have to stop once
instead of twice!

Uniform, uniform, uniform..... as part of the point’s competition we will once again be inspecting uniforms
on those meetings where they are being worn. Full uniform consists of - Scout shirt, scarf, Scout combat
trousers (or school trousers) and clean school shoes. Trainers, ski hats, jeans or T-shirts are NOT uniform
and you’ll be losing your patrol points if you wear them. In the programme where it mentions to wear
uniform, please also remember to bring old clothes with you to change into.


Scout Handbook for details, go online or ask one of us!!
