The LSLA Annual Golf Outing will be held on Thursday, July 23 at beautiful Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire,
WI. Wild Ridge (wildridgegolf.com) is consistently ranked as one of the state’s top public courses. In much the same
format, the recreation committee has again planned many exciting events for this year’s outing:



“Par Three Prize Challenge”
“Putting Contest”
LSLA Education “Bucket Raffle”

“Putt for Dough”
“Hole-in-One”
Individual hole events
“Cash Shoot-Out”
Individual Cash Prizes
This year’s Wednesday “Welcome Reception” (sponsored by Marth Wood Shaving Supply, Inc.) will take place at
the Plaza Hotel and includes drinks, hors d’oeuvres and prizes. Guests will also have the opportunity to buy a chance
to participate and win $1,000 Cash in the Cascade Hardwoods “Deal or No Deal” contest. For entertainment, we’ll
have a professional comedian keep us laughing into the evening hours, sponsored by our friends at Kendrick Forest
Products.
In addition, a discounted rate and tee times from 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm has been blocked for LSLA members at Wild
Ridge for Wednesday, July 22. If you plan to take advantage of this special rate, please book your tee time directly
with the golf course (715-834-1766). Make sure to mention the LSLA block to receive the special rate.
Hotel Accommodations, Welcome Reception and Banquet for this year’s event will all be held at the Plaza Hotel
and Suites. Baillie Lumber Company will again be our “Safe Ride” sponsor and will be providing shuttle service to
and from the hotel and the golf course. The hotel is sticking firm to the JULY 3rd cut-off date due to Country Jam
USA being in Eau Claire that Thursday – Sunday. We have 85 rooms in the block and once they’re gone . . . rooms in
the area will be very difficult to secure. Make sure to request the Lake States Lumber Association Golf Outing
Room Block when you call to make your reservations. DO NOT WAIT TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION.
ONCE THE BLOCK OF ROOMS IS FILLED, THERE WILL BE NO MORE ROOMS AVAILABLE.
