Golf ‘Fore’ Kids Sake presented by Lucas Oil
Since its debut in 2009, the Harrison County Golf Scramble has generated thousands of dollars in funding from
supporters like you, to directly support Big Brothers Big Sisters in Harrison County. These funds have since created
many new one-to-one mentoring matches between adults and children in our area, leading to transformative community change. We are thrilled to announce the sixth annual Golf ’Fore’ Kids Sake will be at the gorgeous Lucas Oil
Golf Course on Friday, June 19, 2015.
Participants can expect a great afternoon including lunch, raffle items to take a chance at, and a few other
surprises along the way. Make an investment in local kids and join us on the links this June!
How Your Dollars Start Something Big
All financial contributions to Big Brothers Big Sisters in Harrison County help support costs associated with
successfully operating our mentoring programs here in Southern Indiana. The average cost to create and
professionally support one mentoring match for one year is $1,200. We serve about 50 children per year and at
any given time have close to ten children waiting to be matched with a volunteer mentor. Your sponsorship of the
2015 Golf ’Fore’ Kids Sake will allow us to continue doing what we do best: empowering kids in our community to
achieve their full potential.
