Silent and Live Auction Fundraiser. The money raised tonight will be used to support Mabry Elementary School and
its students!
We would like to give a special acknowledgment to our Auction Committee. It is the culmination of the Auction
Committee’s hard work and organization that has brought everyone here today. From the bottom of our hearts, Mabry
wants to THANK YOU!
The Auction Event is a massive undertaking, beginning at the start of the school year and ending with the start of the
following school year. These amazing volunteers are parents, teachers and staff have spent countless hours getting
amazing donations, managing the bidding systems, creating and setting up a memorable party-- all in the name of
making our very own Mabry Elementary an amazing school. The “Pearls & Prohibition” Silent and Live Auction
Fundraiser would not have happened without the extraordinary efforts of the following people:

Auction Rules
Registration
1. Register Online providing your contact information including your mobile number and
a credit card.
2. You’ll receive a text message with your PIN that you’ll need to login to the auction site.
3. View the items and bid! You can even submit a maximum bid and let Qtego bid for you!
4. At the end of the auction, if you won an item, we’ll charge your credit card and contact
you about picking up and enjoying your item.
Silent Auction
The Silent Auction opened on Thursday, March 19, 2015. The minimum bid and minimum raise
for each item is detailed in the description of the item. To be valid, bids must comply with
these minimums. Doing so constitutes a legal contract to purchase that silent auction item
at the price you stated if your bid is the winning bid. The last (highest) valid bid entered
prior to the Auction closing will be the winning bid. The item is yours. The Auction
Committee reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time without notice before the
actual sale. In the event of a dispute, the Auction Committee shall act as final authority in
determining the winning bid.
Live Auction
When bidding during the Live Auction, please hold up your hand toward the auctioneer. The
Live Auction will continue until all items are sold. If a group is bidding on one item, please
designate one person to place your combined bid. Auction items will be awarded to one
purchaser only. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the
item.
Pick-Up
Before leaving the party, PLEASE Check-Out and Pick-Up the items that you WON! You will
receive a text and/or email of the item(s) won. Please go to the Pick-Up Table to claim your
winning items and/or certificates for services. ALL auction items must be removed/pickedup by 10:30 PM., March 21, 2015.
Terms of Sale
Unless otherwise noted, all certificates for goods and services must be used within one year
of the auction date. All items and services are subject to the terms and conditions specified
by the donors. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. The Mabry
Elementary PTA does not make any expressed or implied warranties or guarantees on
auction items regarding quality or value of items or services. Mabry Elementary PTA has
attempted to describe and catalog all items correctly, but all items are offered and sold "AS
IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS." Mabry Elementary PTA neither warrants nor represents, and in
no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship,
provenance or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog or made orally at
the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty for tax purposes or market
value. Items have not been appraised unless otherwise noted. Reservations for trips and
vacation accommodations must be mutually arranged with the donor unless otherwise
noted. No refunds will be allowed on travel packages for canceled tickets and/or
accommodations. By the buyer's purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against
Mabry Elementary PTA, its elected and appointed officials, members and employees,
sponsors, volunteers connected with the auction, and/or the donor of the item. Neither the
Mabry Elementary PTA nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damage that
may result from the use of the property or services.
By bidding on an item, you agree that if you win the item you will pay for the item. If you
make a bid by mistake and the auction has not ended, let a committee member know, and we
can remove your bid. If you bid on more than one item and win more than one item, you are
responsible for paying for all items won. Mabry PTA cannot provide information on any
bidders of items, as in the person you just outbid.
Tax Information
This catalog lists the fair market value of each item. Any amount you pay in excess of the
fair market value would normally be available to you as a charitable contribution for tax
purposes. Please check with your tax advisor for specifics.
