Job Opening: Fiscal Manager
Status: Full-time Position (35 hours/week)
Time Frame: Review begins 6/1/15, position open until filled
DESCRIPTION
The Fiscal Manager is a senior position providing day to day bookkeeping and accounting support to the
Director of Fiscal & Operations. Specific duties will include but not necessarily be limited to:
Financial Tasks:
 Maintain recurring invoices in Peachtree
 Process and enter accounts payable into Peachtree
 Print Purchase Journal for review by Fiscal Director prior to posting
 Print checks for all approved payables, obtain required signatures, and mail with appropriate
back up. Copy and scan payments when required by funder
 Organize paid invoices giving Director Invoices to be allocated and file remaining.
 File all payables after allocations are completed
 Maintain Workmen's Comp Insurance certs and W-9's
Receivables/Banking
 Provide back up support for cash receipts to Housing Bookkeeper
 Input bank interest and ACH Deposits into Peachtree
 Reconcile bank statements in Peachtree on a monthly basis. Arrange for review of statements
and reconciliations by the CDP treasurer on a quarterly basis

Reconcile cash log to cash receipts journal and present to the Executive Director for review and
approval
Assist Director with signature cards
General Accounting
 Assist Director with monthly allocations
 Assist Director with monthly & Quarterly Journal entries
 Assist Director in the maintenance of the Chart of Accounts
 Assist Director in the annual audit
Reporting
 File annual report on line
 Complete annual workmen’s comp audit
 Complete and mail all 3ABC's for towns
 Complete and file 1099's to the vendors, the State and the IRS
 Mail audited Financial Statements to appropriate funders & lenders
 Mail Insurance certs to all lenders annually
Other Tasks
 Manage the storing & destruction of files
 Other related responsibilities as required
Skills and Experience
Required
 Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, preferably in a not for profit organization.
 Strong organizational skills
 Extremely detail oriented and accurate
 High level of proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Strong computer skills
 Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
 High School Diploma or GED required.
 Willingness to take on other tasks as required
Desired
 Knowledge of Housing and community development issues on the Cape
 Relevant experience or education
Compensation: Salary is $35,000 to $40,000 per year. The CDP also provides a generous package of
benefits including vacation and sick time, health insurance and retirement benefits.
