Rules and Code of Conduct
For Provincial Parks Golf Courses
The intention of providing these rules and code conduct is to ensure the full enjoyment of the golf
course for all players and to establish a procedure to protect facilities, services, staff and patrons from
possible dangerous or abusive behavior of others.
The following rules and code of conduct applies to all members, staff and guests.










Appropriate dress at all times (No sleeveless shirts, or shirts with offensive graphics or language
allowed).
No short shorts or cut-offs allowed.
Shoes must be soft spike golf shoes or flat sole leisure shoes.
Everyone must follow rules regarding power cart usage.
Permit faster players to play through.
Replace divots and fix ball mark on every green.
No littering.
No personal alcohol is permitted. (The course is licensed.)
Respect the rights of other players and golf course staff including any business/person that
provides service to the public on behalf of the department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture.
No foul language, unsportsmanlike conduct, abuse of the golf course or golf property, acting in a
manner encroaching upon the rights of others as well as any other conduct that is considered
detrimental to the best interests of the game or Golf NB.
Management has the absolute authority to ask a Member or daily fee golfer to leave if they do not
follow the code of conduct.
These rules apply to conduct in all public areas on golf course property such as but not limited to: the
clubhouse, on the golf course, while driving golf carts and when dealing with golf staff.
Under the authority of the Park Act, Section 17(1) and Regulation 9(2), the Director of Parks and
Attractions reserves the right to suspend privileges and may prohibit entry of any member or day fee
golfer in violation of the code of conduct.
Any grievance should be placed in writing to the Director of Parks and Attractions.
