Waiver: I, individually, (and/or as a parent,
and/or gaurdian of the named minor) for and in
consideration of acceptance of this entry in the
aforementioned cross country camp, do hereby
release, remise, waive, and forever discharge
MCYR, Inc., (all coaches, instructors, staff,
officers, board members, their heirs, assigns, and
legal representatives), First Place Athetics, Inc.,
Datatek Printing, Southern Adventures Water &
Theme Park, John Hunt Cross Country Park, The
City of Huntsville, Huntsville City Parks &
Recreation, and any and all other supporting
groups of this cross country camp from any and
all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of
action whatsoever arising out of, or relating to any
injury illiness, loss or damage, including death
relating to participation in the aforesaid camp I
grant permission and release any and all liability to
those said above for participation in extra ciricular
activities other than the normal daily routine of
the cross camp. I further grant permission to the
organization conducting the camp to use any
photographs, videotapes, and any other record of
this event for any purpose. I hereby certify that
my child or I am in proper physical condition to
participate in the camp.

A safe and fun place to run this summer?
Fun, knowledgeable and qualified
coaches who love the sport of crosscountry to help and instruct you to
go to the next level of competitive
running?
A chance to run with other local runners, kids you go to school with, or
kids that come from other schools
that you compete against ?
Coaching Staff
James Terwilliger (aka Coach Twig), is head
coach of Randolph School's Raider CrossCountry and Track and Field programs. A competitive runner himself, Terwilliger has coached
cross country at the high school level for 13
years and led the Randolph Cross Country boy's
team to nine consecutive AHSAA state cross
country championships.
Stephen Baker is head coach of Bob Jones
High School Cross Country program and Assistant coach of the Track and Field program.
Baker was 1998 1A-2A Cross Country State
Champion and has coached at the high school
level for 12 years.
Terwilliger and Baker met while competing for
the UAH Charger XC team in 2000 and have a
combined coaching experience of over 25 years.
The two coaches direct the 2015 Run in the Sun
XC Camp.

right onto Airport Road. Park is on the left.
Bob Jones High School
Tuesday and Thursday
650 Hughes Rd. Madison, AL. North on Hughes Rd, turn left onto
campus, parking in the rear next to track.

The Run in the Sun camp is sponsored by Madison County Youth
Running Inc. (MCYR). MCYR is an organization designed to promote youth running within the community of Madison County,
Alabama.
MCYR is not a competitive track club and we do not travel to, nor
compete at track meets. MCYR focuses on the training of distance
athletes to better prepare them for their respective school’s team
seasons.
