Madison Unicyclists Summer Camp 2015

Madison Unicyclists Summer Camp 2015 Run by Patricia Wilton June 2226 9am12pm The Madison Unicyclists are very excited to their first unicycle summer camp for beginners! This camp is intended to give our level one and two riders a chance to continue unicycling through the summer with focused instruction aimed at their skill level. We will spend the week with a mixture of selfdirected work as well as group workshops. This week will also be a chance to experiment with the different genres of riding that unicycling has to offer. Additionally, some of MadUni’s advanced youth have offered their time to volunteer and work one on one with their peers during this week. This camp is directed towards beginning level riders who can free mount. Riders who are level three or above should enroll in the Advanced camp. If you have questions about your camp placement please talk to Patricia Wilton, the Camp Director. On Friday from 11:3012:00 there will be a showcase. We invite family and friends to come and watch what we have worked on during the week. Each day campers should bring: ∙

Morning snack ∙

Water bottle ∙

Proper unicycling shoes and clothes (absolutely no flip flops or open toed shoes, skirts and dresses are also not recommended) ∙

Unicycle Costs: The camp will cost $115 for the first kid in each family and $60 for each additional kid. In order to make sure that everyone who does the camp is covered by insurance each camper needs to be a member of the Unicycling Society of America (renewed for 2015). Membership is $20 for an individual membership or $35 for a family membership. If you are a paid MadUni member for 2015 then you are already a member of the USA. Any other questions about the camp can be sent to [email protected].
