Under construction* PIONEERING AN INNOVATION Back in the nineties, for many patients bone grafting was often needed before dental implants could even be placed. This meant enduring the discomfort and long recovery associated with bone grafting, along with the additional expense and a significant delay in treatment. Also for many patients either could not be recommended for such procedures as a result of physiological limitations. When an estimated 45% of the population over 70 in North America and Europe is in need of a complete oral rehabilitation, it is self-evident that a more timeefficient and reliable procedure than bone grafting was needed to meet burgeoning demand. Frustrated by traditional approaches for edentulous and patients with missing or damaged teeth, Paulo Malo decided to tackle the problem. The objective was simple: to provide fixed, longlasting teeth on a reliable basis for totally edentulous patients. The MALO CLINIC Protocol is in fact a major alternative to traditional dentures and dental implant techniques. It is a safe and simple approach, yet it is completely revolutionary. With this new procedure is possible to receive implants and a full set of non-removable teeth during a single visit, and without the need of bone grafting. The result is a fixed (non-removable) natural looking dentition, indistinguishable from natural teeth. MALO CLINIC Protocol advantages: • High success rate; • Virtually eliminates the need for bone grafting, which is invasive, costly, and uncomfortable for patients; Procedure is well tolerated and of a short duration - typically takes about 1 to 2 hours for • complete oral rehabilitation; Can usually be performed in patients with diabetes, osteoporosis or other health conditions • that are often contraindications for bone grafting; All done in a single day – not only the surgery, but also the placement of fixed (non-removable) • teeth with immediate function. Traditional techniques often involve multiple surgeries and can take over a year to complete; • Natural-looking teeth that feel and work like your natural dentition; • Highly hygienic - easy to maintain and clean; • Cost-savings - typically about half the cost of alternative techniques (bone grafting and the placement of more than 4 implants). ® All-on-4 + MALO CLINIC Bridge - The innovative character of the MALO CLINIC Bridge relates to the junction of the infrastructure designed by CAD-CAM technology with the incorporation of crowns individually cemented to the infrastructure. This new solution allows achieving essential objectives in oral rehabilitation: higher quality of materials and workmanship, better aesthetics, individualization of fixed prosthesis, superior biomechanics, facilitating procedures for hygienic maintenance and repair. The MALO CLINIC Bridge was created and developed by MALO CLINIC and represents the ® highest point of the combination of biomedical engineering with the NobelProcera - CAD/CAM technology. This offers the total edentulous patients a fixed solution over implants of an extraordinary functional and aesthetic quality. ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
